-£29,000 per year
-Full time - 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. 6am - 4pm

What you'll be doing
-

  • Management of a kitchen, or team within a kitchen, to ensure tasks are appropriately allocated and team members are fully utilised

  • -
  • Lead team to use best practice Food Production techniques in line with Aramark standard recipes, systems and brand standards

  • -
  • Direct and coach team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks, ensuring all training and development needs are met

  • Assists with performance monitoring, record keeping, recruitment and development for direct reports

  • Determine the food offer to ensure it meets customers' demands and is profitable

  • Handle customer complaints

  • -
  • Ensure complete compliance of team with food safety and health and safety legislation and in line with Aramark standards

  • Report any incidents, near misses and health & safety issues to Unit Manager

  • Responsible for shift opening and closing checklists

  • Maintain good working relationships with all other members of the team

  • Undertake relevant training as required

  • Place orders as required

  • Carry out stock takes as required


  • Experience
    -Previous culinary experience(2-3 years) within catering or retail
    -Experience working in a busy kitchen
    -Must be eligible to work in the UK
    -A great passion for food and service
    -Flexible approach to hours and duties
