Full Job Description
- Support the Head Chef in leading kitchen operations and team performance
- Oversee food preparation, cooking and presentation to luxury brand standards
- Maintain productivity, food cost control and adherence to specifications
- Ensure safe, compliant and efficient kitchen operations across all sections
- Champion training, succession planning and continuous improvement., Lead service, guiding Chef de Parties, Commis and kitchen porters
- Maintain stock levels, commodity checks, waste control and supplier compliance
- Oversee cleaning schedules, maintenance logs and safety documentation
- Brief service teams on product availability, specials and recommended dishes
- Ensure all dishes meet specification, costings and brand presentation standards.
An experienced kitchen leader with strong supervisory or management capability - Calm, organised and confident running service and deputising for the Head Chef
- Skilled in menu execution, specification compliance and operational consistency
- A natural mentor who develops teams through coaching, feedback and
- Knowledgeable in HACCP, food safety, kitchen systems and risk management.
