Spray Painter

Time Served Spray Painters, Motherwell, Day Shift / Night Shift, 15.48 / 23.22 per hour

We are recruiting for Time Served Spray Painters to work at Volvo Construction Equipment based in Newhouse Industrial Estate, Motherwell.

What to expect as a Spray Painter:

Working Day Shift & Night Shift on a weekly rotation

4 day working week - 35 hours with no weekend work

Preparing product for cleaning by carrying out steam cleaning and sanding down product using an orbital sander

Cutting and masking to required specifications

Accessing spray painting structures using safety ladders

Working within a sealed spray-painting structure wearing an umbilically air-fed head set

Operation of an umbilically fed spray gun

Working to high level of quality with particular emphasis on achieving the correct consistency of paint on each coat

What we're looking for:

Time served or completion of modern apprenticeship

Experience within manufacturing

A solid work history
