Sr Instruments Sales Representative

The Sales Representative is responsible for the promotion and revenue growth of the full Sanger Sequencing as well as qPCR and digital PCR workflow (including Instruments & Consumables) in line with promotion of Thermo Fisher Scientific as the technology leader in Genetic Analysis Solutions. The applicant will work closely with the Account Managers, Inside Sales and Fisher Scientific sales force in their territory with the objective of growing profits and market share for the Thermo Fisher Life Science Solution Group. Activities will include:sales visitsterritory planningmonitoring sales performanceaccurate forecastingorganization of scientific seminars and conferencesResponsibilities will also include establishing strategic business plans in line with local Sales Managers

ExperienceMSc or equivalent experience in Life ScienceIdeally 2 years sales experience in the Life Sciences IndustryExcellent presentation and confident communication skillsProcess oriented with attention to detailsCollaboration oriented with collaborative style
Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesMust be flexible and willing to travel between 50- 80% in his / her territory to complete his / her dutiesRequires understanding of commonly used Sanger Sequencing Technologies, qPCR and digital PCR methodsSolution Selling and Key Account Management skillsOutstanding problem solving and interpersonal skillsProven written and verbal communicationClear vision of, and dedication to, providing outstanding customer experienceCommitment to contributions as a team member in a fast-paced, innovative and very dynamic fieldMust be self-directed and self-motivated to work at a highly technical levelMust be fluent in English, both verbal and writtenDriving License
