Neurology Nurse Community Based
Band 5 £30,229 - £37,664 pro rata
Plus £1,279 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata
Maternity Cover
22.3 hours a week
A vacancy has arisen for a band 5 registered nurse to work within the Neurology Team, based in the Health Centre, Stornoway. This post is to cover maternity leave and involves working mainly in the community but also has clinics in the Health Centre and Western Isles Hospital.
Your role will involve supporting patients and families with a range of neurological conditions including Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinsons disease.
You will be working as part of the established Neurology Team and will work directly under the supervision of the Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist/Team Lead.
This service operates Monday to Friday 08.30 until 16.30.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme. This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
