Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.  

The shift pattern is rotational 11.5 hour shifts days/night.

(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours

We have vacancies for experienced Registered Nurses within our General medicine and Gastroenterology ward 8B QEUH. Full time and part time hours available on request.

Our Nursing teams are supported by a Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Nurse Educator, and we also benefit from support from a Practice Development Nurse who supports wellbeing and mental health.

We are a multidisciplinary team and value contributions from all our members. We are based on Ward 8B, C AND D in the 'stack'. Gastroenterology provides specialist inpatient and outpatient care for all areas of gastrointestinal disease including hepatology, luminal, gastroenterology, advanced endoscopy and specialist upper GI services.
