Stock Controller

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Stock Controller for a large logistics and warehousing operation based in Leven.

Our client runs a high-volume distribution site where stock accuracy sits at the centre of the operation. This is a role for someone who likes getting to the bottom of a discrepancy rather than just recording it.

As a Stock Controller, your duties will include:

• Carrying out and verifying daily stock checks, and making sure cycle counts are processed
• Investigating discrepancies, losses and gains, and documenting the outcome
• Liaising with warehouse teams on stock movements and resolving receipt, dispatch and relocation issues
• Tracing missing stock and processing damages, destruction's and cage maintenance
• Maintaining stock records and supporting customs and compliance controls

To be considered as a Stock Controller, you will need:

• Previous stock control experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• A valid forklift truck licence
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems
• A keen eye for detail and confident use of Microsoft Office
• Clear communication skills and a team-focused approach
