Store Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Store Manager to join St Catherine's and to continue to build on the success of our Leyland shop.

The successful applicant, needs to be experienced in retail and enthusiastic with a can do attitude. Visual merchandising, product placement and developing external events will be part of the managers remit, whilst also being responsible for managing a supervisor and a team of volunteers. You will also be part of a wider team, where support, communication and teamwork is the key to success.

The shop, which stocks clothing, books, furniture and general merchandise trades for 6 days a week. You will manage the shop, working 7.5 hours a day with the flexibility of working 5 days out of 7 which includes Saturdays and Bank Holidays.

As the retail team at St Catherine's Hospice goes from strength to strength, we are on the hunt for the best talent to ensure we keep on improving for the benefit of our patients and families.

Our charity shops not only raise much-needed funds, they are also a busy hub in the community - attracting regular customers and donors who wish to support the work of the hospice.

All candidates must be able to demonstrate they are eligible to work in the UK.

The role is subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, including a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

37.5 Hours per week (£27,100 per annum), £27,100, You will manage the shop, working 7.5 hours a day with the flexibility of working 5 days out of 7 which includes Saturdays and Bank Holidays.
