Full Job Description

Reporting to the Team Leader, this role is required to act as the customer's co-ordination point for all cargo movements on and offshore, and to represent the customer's best interest between the relevant offshore installations, onshore vendors and all other relevant onshore support agencies and stakeholders. Manage the delivery of services from the receipt of materials through to despatch, including management of materials, stock and bagging and tagging in accordance with ASCO policy, procedures, work instructions and agreed service level agreements. Duties include:

  • Establish strong working relationship with client's representatives, colleagues and vendors.


  • Understand client's requirements and identify opportunities to improve service delivery.


  • Liaise daily with client's representatives, both on and offshore, including attendance at meetings and toolbox talks.


  • Effectively co-ordinating the movement of inbound / outbound cargo between the base and various vendors, ensuring the client's shipping is compliant with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.


  • Prepare and update daily the inbound / outbound cargo lists ensuring the client's shipping is compliant with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.


  • Creating and processing all SAP/Maximo documents, including consignment notes, resolving any identified discrepancies.


  • Tracking material through ASCO/client systems, investigating any issues and liaising with ASCO Transport department, vendors and client regarding cargo deliveries.


  • Manage the materials in the delivery of inventory control, including bagging and tagging, storage of materials and getting ready for shipment.


  • Producing various reports, ensuring the information meets Company and client expectations.


  • Provide updates to team members and end users on changes to scheduled activities and deadlines.

  • Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suite and a practical understanding of data entry and reporting applications, specifically in SAP/Maximo.

    A current passport endorsed to show that the holder is allowed to stay in the UK and is currently allowed to do the type of work in question
    A current Biometric Immigration Document (Biometric Residence Permit) issued by the Home Office to the holder which indicates that the named person can currently stay in the UK and is allowed to do the work in question
    A current Immigration Status Document containing a photograph issued by the Home Office to the holder with a valid endorsement indicating that the named person may stay in the UK, and is allowed to do the type of work in question, together with an official document giving the person's permanent National Insurance number and their name issued by a Government agency or a previous employer
    An Application Registration Card issued by the Home Office stating that the holder is permitted to take the employment in question
