STUDENT FUNDING ADVISOR

Permanent, Full-Time (35 hours per week)

£34,243 per annum, pro rata

As a member of the Student Funding team, you will be responsible for providing financial advice and support to students, helping them navigate various funding options and ensuring they receive the financial assistance they need to succeed in their studies.

This role also supports with the assessment of student financial needs, processing applications, and ensuring that financial aid is distributed fairly and efficiently whilst providing a high level of customer care to funding applicants and always ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

The successful applicant must have office administration experience including record keeping experience and a good standard of literacy and numeracy. You will have excellent IT skills and the ability to demonstrate experience of working with an attention to detail.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by South Lanarkshire College.
