Student Placement – Environmental Health, Stornoway/Balivanich
37 hours per week, summer placement
£13.52 per hour ( inclusive of £1.55 Distant Islands Allowance per hour )

Student placements will be available during the summer vacation.

You will assist in achieving the Consumer & Environmental Services section’s aim to maintain and safeguard standards in respect of the health and wellbeing of the population of the Western Isles through the provision of high-quality, cost-effective services, (including advice) and enforcement of statutes.

You must have the ability to work effectively using own initiative and following procedures to create good quality work.

You must be currently studying Environmental Health at undergraduate level.

This post requires a full, unrestricted UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.

Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance
