Student Placement – IT Technical Support, Stornoway
37 hours per week, summer placement
£13.52 per hour ( inclusive of £1.55 Distant Islands Allowance per hour )
Student placements will be available during the summer vacation.
You will assist the Technical Support Team with general IT support duties including, but not restricted to, Helpdesk support, Desktop Upgrades, supplier liaison, inventory maintenance, telephony system support and general system admin tasks as required.
You must have good inter-personal skills in order to communicate effectively with users, colleagues and suppliers on technical and non-technical issues..
You must be currently studying towards a qualification in IT.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance
