You'll play a pivotal role in leading engineers, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

There are 4 x substations under this Framework which are located in the Inverness to Aberdeen region. We are looking to appoint teams to start on the ECI which will have you office based for the first 6-12 months, thereafter you will be moved onto completing the work on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Site Agent in planning and coordinating all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor management.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that works packages are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Monitor progress against project milestones and budgets, identifying any deviations or issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and other project documentation in accordance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, environmental regulations, and project specifications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site staff, resolving technical queries and coordinating design changes as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of progress reports, including daily diaries, photographic records, and as-built drawings, to document project activities and achievements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a solid understanding of construction techniques and processes.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in construction software and tools, such as project management software and CAD programs, is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.

Why Join Us:

  • Opportunity to work on a prestigious power transmission project with a leading construction company.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package, including healthcare, pension, and opportunities for career development.
  • Supportive and inclusive work environment where your contributions are valued and recognised.
  • Continuous training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and progress in your career.
