At Easter Carmuirs Primary School, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child can be supported to achieve their full potential. - Respect & Inclusion: A proactive approach to promoting equity and diversity. You will champion inclusive practice, adapting your approach to meet diverse learning, emotional, and physical needs across mainstream and Enhanced Provision settings.
- Personal Care & Dignity: A sensitive, compassionate, and respectful approach to assisting children with their personal care needs (such as hygiene, dressing, and intimate care). You will uphold each child's privacy, comfort, and dignity at all times while encouragement of independence is promoted.
- Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with children, teachers and multi-agency teams to enhance educational experiences.
- Physical & Mobility Support: Confidence, safety awareness, and patience in supporting children with specific physical needs, promoting their active participation in all areas of school life.
- Collaborative Teamwork: A flexible, positive mindset and a strong team-player attitude, ready to work collaboratively alongside teaching and support staff to foster a positive, welcoming school ethos.
