Job Description

Falkirk Council is seeking to recruit a temporary Support for Learning Assistant at advanced level. The postholder will be required to undertake a range of whole school support activities with regard to the general supervision, safety, wellbeing of pupils, assisting with personal care and hygiene also within the dining room, outside areas, lavatories and on education excursions as required.

Within the school, the postholder will seek overall direction and will carry out tasks determined and assigned by the designated teacher. Postholders would be required to fulfil the majority of the criteria described under advanced descriptions, but not expected to undertake all tasks under this heading.

You will work 27.50 hours per week on a term time basis.

This post is temporary until 26 June 2026.
