Full Job Description

  • Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health concerns to live their daily lives. Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best lives possible with them.
  • Our Shifts: 7am - 3.15pm | 3pm - 10pm | 10am - 6pm | 10pm - 7am (waking night) Shift Requirement: We are currently recruiting for staff to work either days or nights Contract: We have 1 x 20 hour permanent contract for days and 1 x 20 hour permanent contract for nights. We cannot offer set shifts each week, so we require flexibility to work different days of the week. UK Driving License Required? Would be beneficial but is not essential What You'll Be Doing You'll be supporting 12 amazing individuals to live their daily lives in the way they want to live them. This means you will provide support in a wide variety of ways, including: + Supporting with personal care + Medication Administration + Home management, including support with cooking, cleaning, shopping and budget management + Mobility support - some the people we support use wheelchairs and mobility aids to safely get around + Daily activities - anything and everything the people we support like to do is something you might provide support with! So come ready and willing to put yourself out there and support with going to the cinema, attending discos, socialising at supper club, going for long walks, enjoying arts and crafts, baking, cooking and gardening This service is a lone working service so our ideal candidate will have some previous care/support experience.
