Full Job Description
This role reports into our Procurement Excellence Analyst. You will be responsible for engaging directly with suppliers to understand their maturity and plans on reducing their emissions. You will work out a way to improve how we track supplier improvements in scope 3 emissions and identify projects on reducing our emissions. The role will be active across Procurement. Length of assignment: 3 months Your Main Tasks:
- Working closely with our Procurement Excellence Analyst, your role is to communicate directly with our key suppliers to understand their carbon reduction journey. This includes gathering information regarding their ambitions to set a science-based target and PCF data.
- Identify 3-5 key achievable projects in reducing our carbon emissions that can make a significant difference to Convatec.
- Work closely with category managers to attend their meetings with suppliers, and ensure you use your time to gather the relevant information
- Track all data gathered and compile easy to read reports
- Research scope 3 emissions to be an expert in this topic so you can confidently converse with suppliers
- Present findings to Procurement Leadership Team
