We are looking for a motivated and caring Day Centre Officer to join our team supporting adults with learning disabilities.It is rewarding role, you will help individuals reach and maintain their maximum potential by promoting independence, developing skills, and encouraging choice and responsibility in their daily lives.Working as part of supportive centre team, you will play a key role in delivering person-centred programmes that enable individuals to participate fully in educational, social and recreational opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the ongoing assessment and review of individual programmes\tAssist service users in planning and achieving their personal goals\tMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of progress\tParticipate in regular service user reviews\tDeliver and support a range of activities, including educational, vocational, social and recreational programmes\tProvide support with personal care, including moving and assisting, where required\tWork in
partnership with families, social work staff, and external organisations\tPromote access to community facilities and opportunities\tContribute to the centre's role as a valued community resourceWhat We're Looking For
EssentialSVQ Level 2 or 3 in Social Care, HNC in Social Care, or willingness to work towards\tExperience working in a health or social care environment\tExperience supporting individuals with personal care needs
