Location: Langlea Avenue Children’s Home 
Hours: 30hrs per week, temporary for minimum 6 months
Work Pattern: Night shifts 9.45pm - 7.45am, as per rota
Salary / Hourly Rate: £18.34 - £23.65 per hour, £28,687 - £36,993 per annum
 

The aim of Social Work Resources is to promote social welfare and provide effective care and support to meet the needs of vulnerable people in South Lanarkshire.

Essential Criteria:

  • The successful candidate should hold a SVQ level 3 in Care related topic and HNC or above. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to commit to completing SVQ Level 4 to meet SSSC qualification requirements.
  • The ability to develop training plans, safe systems and practices and assist the team to embrace these.
  • Excellent communication skills - you will liaise with partner agencies to ensure the safe care of our young people.
  • The ability to maintain care plans and assist to quality assure these.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team and make appropriate decisions, where necessary.
