Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent outreach teacher with a passion for supporting children and young people with additional support needs and an interest in using specific knowledge and skills to support those with complex needs. This post is based in Stirling Council’s ASL Inclusion Service. ASN Inclusion Service are a team of peripatetic teachers working with children and young people aged 0-18.

The role of the Complex Needs Outreach Teacher involves providing consultation, advice, assessment and support for children, young people, families and professionals in primary education settings to ensure that all children and young people are appropriately supported to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will be based in our office at Bannockburn High School, Stirling city and will travel to allocated primary education settings within the Stirling Council area on a daily basis. This role includes providing support at home or young children and their families and regular liaison with a variety of professionals.

Any enquiries should be directed to the Head Teacher on .

Please note that although the application process allows the uploading of a CV (resume), this is not a requirement for teaching posts and if submitted will not be taken into account during shortlisting to ensure a consistent approach for assessing all candidates. You should instead fully answer the question section with all relevant experience and skills.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
