If so, the Shetland Islands Council is offering an exciting opportunity to work at excellently resourced Nesting Primary School
Our beautiful location offers great opportunities for learning and we benefit from an excellently resourced school, at the heart of a caring, supportive community.
Nesting Primary School is a non-denominational school located in Skellister. It provides primary education from P1 to P7 for children from North and South Nesting. The structure of the school is 1 multi-composite class. There is currently a total of 15 pupils on the roll. The school is managed by a teaching Head Teacher. The current staffing complement is 2 teachers (1 FTE) assisted by support staff as required to meet school demands. The current Acting Head Teacher is Mrs Louise Malcolmson. - The grade of this post is TCHR
- Rate of pay shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £1.6669 per hour
- Permanent Part Time post for 14.0 Hours per Week
- To work alongside a small team and provide Head Teacher Admin cover & ASN Teacher
- Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment being made
- You must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) prior to starting in post
- We would welcome applications from flexible route probationers
- A relocation package does not apply to this post
