- Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering educational activities.
- Provide support to individual students and small groups to help them understand and complete tasks.
- Encourage children's engagement with the curriculum and foster a positive learning environment.
- Monitor and record children's progress, sharing observations with the class teacher.
- Help manage classroom resources and set up for lessons.
- Support the class teacher in managing behaviour and maintaining classroom discipline.
- Participate in school meetings and professional development sessions as required.
· NVQ level 2 or above qualification -appropriate to the post (or equivalent) · GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) to grade 'C' or above, · Minimum of 3 months' experience working in a primary school either as an employed member of staff or via a college placement.
