Team Leader

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our established and experienced e-trade Underwriting team here at RSA in Glasgow on a hybrid basis.

Your Role

You will coach the performance and development of a team of 12-15 people to deliver agreed customer, financial and operational performance targets in line with our business strategy. You will be responsible for a team who are delivering sales, service, and e-trading support via live chat, phone channels and post to brokers.

In your role you will coach people in an operational environment. You will contribute to the achievement of the operations operational plan in support of the SME business plan. You’ll create a culture of performance and pace within your team, focused on improving the customer.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of delivering for the customer, driving improvements, and coaching others. You will have a background in a customer facing environment, with an ability to mentor, engage and inspire a successful team of people to achieve business goals.

You will be an experienced people leader in a target focused environment. Insurance or Financial services experience would be highly beneficial but not essential. You will drive ongoing continuous improvement across the team through coaching and motivation. You will have experience of coaching a team to achieve goals & targets ensuring that the best customer experience is achieved.
