Full Job Description

Our closeknit team of Team Leaders, help our care teams to support adults with a variety of complex disabilities, who receive 24 hour care, in their own homes and community, and they require a motivated and enthusiastic leader to join the team., You will be required to co-ordinate and supervise a team of support staff in delivering a high standard of social care practice using a person-centred approach that reflects individual customer's needs wants and aspirations. As a Team Leader you will occasionally work on the floor delivering direct care including medication administration, personal care and moving and assisting. Meaning it's not all about paperwork, you still get some hands on practice. A key part of this role is to coach, monitor, mentor and develop the skill base within the staff team, you will do this by displaying Leadership skills such as role modelling, decision making, being an effective communicator, having a positive attitude, commitment and confidence in the role., Capability Scotland is committed to providing an inclusive workplace where all forms of difference are valued and which is free from any form of unfair or unlawful treatment. 20 hours per week will typically be worked across 3 days Monday to Friday though some flexibility is required to meet staff or carry out observations at evenings or weekends. Working with Capability Scotland brings you lots of benefits:
