Technical food Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Manager to join a well-established business on a 14 month fixed-term basis.

This is a key role with full responsibility for site technical, quality, and compliance functions. You'll be leading from the front, ensuring standards are maintained while supporting operational teams and managing external audits.

• Lead all technical and quality systems on site
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation and recognised standards
• Manage HACCP and quality processes
• Act as the lead contact for audits (third-party and customer)
• Investigate non-conformances and drive corrective actions
• Work cross-functionally to maintain standards and product integrity
• Manage supplier approvals and specifications
• Support and develop internal teams

• Experience in Technical Manager, QA Manager, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and audit standards (e.g. BRCGS)
• Confident managing audits and external stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to lead and influence across departments
