Position:

An opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Part-Time Clerical Officer based at University Hospital Crosshouse.

What you will do:

Duties include the maintenance and filing of patients confidential records, recording patient related data, admissions and booking-out patient appointments using the computerised Patient Management System.  Providing reception service, answering telephones and relaying messages

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You should possess SVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent qualification or experience. You should have good communication and interpersonal skills.

Hours:

11.5 per week.

You should be able to work flexibly in order to meet service demands.

This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity in 12 months.

Shift Pattern: 

Week 1:          Saturday and Sunday                     9 am 5 pm

Week 2:          Monday and Tuesday                     5 pm 9.30 pm

Week 3:          Saturday and Sunday                     5 pm 9.30 pm

Week 4:          Monday, Tuesday and Wed            5 pm 9.30 pm

You should be able to work flexibly in order to meet service demands.
