9 - 5 Monday to Friday

£14 - £16 per hour (35 hours per week)

Oliver Smith Recruitment are currently working with our key client in Glasgow to recruit a temporary Purchase Ledger.

My client is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years experience in Accounts Payable.

Duties:

• Ensure where relevant all invoices are appropriately authorised
• Accurate posting of invoices into the purchase ledger
• Assisting with preparation of payment runs
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Posting journals
• Maintain and create new supplier accounts
• Assisting with audit preparation
• Managing the Overheads e-mail inbox
• Other ad-hoc projects as needed.
• Support with month end routines and reporting (accruals/prepayments).
• Liaising with internal staff and suppliers to resolve invoice queries
• To provide cover for other Accounts Payable Assistants
