TIG Welder

Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced TIG Welder to join our Paisley-based client on a temporary to permanent basis.

Our client is an established business operating within the industrial sector, undertaking fabrication and installation projects across both workshop and site environments.

What's on offer?

• Ongoing temporary to permanent opportunity
• Monday to Thursday, 0730 to 4:30pm, Friday to 1400
• 19 per hour (PAYE) or 24 per hour (CIS)

As a TIG Welder, your duties will include:

• Fabricating stainless steel pipe runs in an industrial environment
• Following pipework schematics accurately to specification
• TIG welding to a high standard
• Working across both workshop and onsite environments as required
• Adhering to all site health and safety requirements at all times

The ideal TIG Welder will have:

• Proven experience in pipework and fabrication of stainless steel pipework
• The ability to read and interpret pipework schematics
• TIG welding experience,
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A proactive, safety-conscious approach to work
