Trainee Quantity Surveyor

Job purpose: We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Quantity Surveyor, to be based in our Office in the West End of Glasgow and to support our team on a range of projects across the UK but mainly in Scotland’s Central Belt.

What will I learn? The Graduate Apprenticeship route allows you to earn as you learn, and you will work as part of a young, vibrant and experienced team of Quantity Surveyors, Building Surveyors and Project Managers on a variety of construction projects.

We offer full support and mentoring (and sometimes Paesano pizzas on a Friday).

What qualifications or qualities are required? Candidates should be keen and enthusiastic, with a genuine willingness to learn.

Candidates must have sufficient qualifications to gain entry to Glasgow Caledonian University’s BSc (Hons) Graduate Apprenticeship in Construction and the Built Environment (Quantity Surveying). The course requires attendance 1 day per week during term-time and spans 4 years. Out with University attendance the successful candidate would work full time with CRGP Surveyors Limited. Typical entry requirements are 4 Highers at BBCC (or equivalent), plus National 5 English and Maths.

Candidates are required to have knowledge and experience of working with MS Word and Excel. In-house training will be provided on other, specialist software.

Having a full UK driving licence or working towards obtaining one is preferred.
