Trainee Tax Assistant

We are exclusviely working with a forward-thinking and progressive accountancy firm who are looking to recruit a Trainee Tax Assistant to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in tax, gaining exposure to both corporate and personal tax within a supportive and professional environment. Full training will be provided, along with ongoing support and guidance to help you develop your knowledge, skills and progress towards a professional tax qualification.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
• Assisting with tax computations and compliance work.
• Helping to manage client information and ensure deadlines are met.
• Supporting the wider tax team with day-to-day duties.
• Developing an understanding of tax legislation and HMRC requirements.
• Building relationships with clients and colleagues while developing your technical knowledge.

Candidates should have previous experience working within a finance environment or hold a finance-related degree. We are keen to hear from someone with a genuine interest in developing a career in tax, who is motivated, organised and keen to sit their profesialn Tax Qualificaiton. Previous tax experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.
