Requirements

You will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area or relevant experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

You will provide support to the Council’s senior leaders and sponsors of transformation themes and/or projects to ensure effective programme delivery of one or more significant and/or complex areas in the Council’s Transformation Programme.

The Individual

You will have experience in project management, change management and performance measurement. Experience in the application of service design would be beneficial but not essential. You will have knowledge of use of systems/process improvement methodologies, dealing with Senior Managers and Board Members (Elected Members/Executive Directors in our context) and strategic and political awareness of national programmes and main issues. You will have the ability to find creative solutions to problems, leadership skills, excellent communication skills, data analysis skills and IT competence: O365 systems including: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, surveys and AI are essential.
