Full Job Description

  • Identifying and solving complex business problems objectively, applying sound judgement to develop and present strategic, data-driven solutions
  • Leading discrete pieces of work (or project workstreams) end-to-end, including planning, day-to-day direction, and management of risks, issues and dependencies
  • Supporting the assessment of processes, identifying and quantifying inefficiencies and contributing ideas for improvement
  • Conducting complex research and advanced qualitative and quantitative analysis to generate actionable insights and clear recommendations, with appropriate review of junior team members' outputs
  • Translating sector trends and leading practices into client-relevant points of view, helping shape target operating models, design principles and roadmaps
  • Articulating how technology and emerging innovations (including AI/Automation) enable and differentiate business strategy, and communicating this clearly to clients
  • Supporting engagement delivery, quality assurance and a superior client experience, including taking responsibility for senior leadership engagement where required
  • Building trusted relationships with clients and senior stakeholders through strong communication, credibility and confident presentation
  • Developing compelling, logically structured deliverables and presentations, bringing exceptional organisation and storyline thinking; coaching junior team members on these skills
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members through constructive feedback, on-the-job coaching, and role-modelling best practice ways of working

    • We are looking for people with the following skills and experience:
  • Strong understanding of how business functions operate end-to-end, with awareness of sector trends and leading practices (ideally across Consumer, ERI and/or TMT)
  • Experience assessing business processes, identifying root causes of inefficiency, and shaping pragmatic operating model and improvement recommendations
  • Capability to run qualitative and quantitative analysis (including large datasets) to develop clear insights, implications and recommendations
  • Ability to connect technology to business outcomes, including how AI/Automation can enable and differentiate strategy and operations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to build credibility with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Experience planning and delivering workstreams within consulting engagements or in-house transformation initiatives
  • Experience in a junior-level operational role within a private sector organisation (as an employee or consultant/contractor), demonstrating an understanding of overall operating models
  • Experience supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification
    • Although not essential, we are looking for people who additionally have:
  • Experience of use of AI/Automation to accelerate key operational processes and/or optimise ways of working in one or more of the CET sectors
  • Strong financial acumen, able to incorporate financial information into business cases and opportunity evaluation
