Turner

Pfaudler Limited, Leven, have a vacancy for a time served Turner, with suitable experience, who will be required to work on various manually (conventional) operated lathes, horizontal and vertical borers and milling machines, working to fine tolerances / limits for our busy machine shop.

Duties will include:

- Set up and operate turning machines to produce parts according to specifications

- Read and interpret engineering drawings

- Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments

- Maintain machinery and equipment in good working condition

- Monitor the production process to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met

- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

Previous experience as a Turner or in a similar role

- Mechanical knowledge and proficiency in operating turning machines

- Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting technical drawings

- Knowledge of tooling, materials handling, welding techniques, and SolidWorks is a plus

- Proficiency in basic mathematics for measurements and calculations,

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Turner: 5 years (preferred)
