Full Job Description

We are delighted to be working closely with them with the recruitment of a UK Technical Accounting Manager. Reporting directly to (and working closely with) the UK Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the relationship management of the external auditors and will also include all aspects of technical accounting review and documentation across the UK business.

Duties will include:


  • Deliver financial outputs relating to various UK & Denmark entities
  • Legal Entity Rationalisation
  • Management of incoming new External Auditors and audits.
  • Statutory Account Preparation and Review.
  • Dividend Proposals.
  • Management of External Auditors and audits.
  • Management of a team of 10 across: Payroll, Treasury & AP and Statutory Accountants.
  • Manage and co-ordinate with Legal, Tax and HR teams, providing inputs where required

Applications are invited from highly experienced qualified accountants with expert technical accounting knowledge and a willingness to investigate and resolve technical matters.

By nature, you will be a first class communicator at all levels, both written and verbal and be a dynamic, strategic thinker.

First-rate analytical skills, with the ability to present findings to people across departments is key as is the ability to build excellent relationships and work with other teams.

Advanced Excel skills are required and experience of Oracle would be beneficial, but not essential.
