Van Home Delivery Driver

As a Van Home Delivery Driver working from our Coatbridge Depot, you'll be more than just a driver, you'll be a key ambassador for our brand, delivering quality furniture and outstanding service directly to our customers' homes. Working as part of a two-person delivery team, you'll complete multi-drop deliveries across your region, safely transporting, handling and, where required, assembling and installing furniture. From doorstep delivery to room-of-choice and premium installation, you'll ensure every customer receives a professional and memorable experience. Shift Pattern: This is a Monday-to-Friday role with two available shift patterns:

• Rotating shifts: 06:00-14:30 and 14:00-22:30 or
• Permanent afternoon shift: 14:00-22:30
Flexibility to work within these hours is essential to support our customers and operational requirements.,
• Complete multi-drop deliveries safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Represent Oak Furnitureland with professionalism and excellent customer service.
• Safely handle, load and secure heavy furniture.
• Assemble and install furniture where required.
• Complete vehicle checks and comply with GB driving and transport regulations.
• Work closely with your delivery partner to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.
• Resolve customer queries and delivery challenges professionally.
  
  A valid UK/EU driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• A minimum of 12 months driving experience and no driving disqualifications within the last 5 years
• The physical ability to lift, carry and assemble heavy furniture.
• Experience with furniture delivery, assembly or installation is desirable
• Proven ability to follow delivery routes efficiently while ensuring loads are secure and handled safely to prevent damage to goods or property
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A positive, professional and reliable attitude.
• Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• A good understanding of safe driving and load-handling practices.
• Flexibility to work within the required shift hours to meet customer expectations and operational demands.
