About Us Located in the heart of Edinburgh, Craigleith Vets for Pets is a well-established practice with a loyal client base. Our modern, fully equipped surgery is based within a Pets at Home store, providing easy access to excellent facilities and a collaborative working environment. You'll be joining a passionate and skilled team made up of two full-time vets, two part-time vets, three RVNs, a dedicated Practice Manager, and three client care advisors. We pride ourselves on offering advanced services in emergency and critical care, feline nursing, dermatology, and clinical animal behaviour. About the role This position is ideally for a full-time experienced vet in Craigleith Vets for Pets, though we can consider part-time arrangements. The role includes 1 in 3 weekends (Saturdays 9-5 and Sundays 10-5) with time back during the week. There are no scheduled surgeries on weekends, allowing you to treat any emergencies that come in.

• Full-time (or part-time) experienced vet confident in all aspects of general practice.
• Weekdays supported by 2 RVNs, 2 receptionists, and at least 1 other vet.
• Weekends will be sole charge, supported by 1 nurse and 1 receptionist.
• Regular 2-hour breaks for lunches honouring paid break.
• Weekend work compensated with time back during the week.
• Fixed rota allows advance planning of time off.
• Direct candidates may receive a welcome bonus (terms and conditions apply).
• Payment up to £65,000 (FTE) with enhanced holidays after 2 years.
• Non-clinical support from a close-knit, experienced team.
• Optional part-time consideration based on applicant preference.
