If you are looking for your next move, why don’t you consider Renfrewshire Council’s Property Services team? We are looking for a self-motivated, innovative and flexible individual that can help support the Council’s Capital and Revenue building programmes.

In this role you will assist in providing cost management/ quantity surveying services within a multi-disciplinary team including being involved in preparing contract documentation, liaising with contractors, prepare bills of quantities, final accounts and assist with cost initiatives on construction programmes.

You must have basic knowledge of the Quantity Surveyor role within the construction team from inception to completion of a project, as well as awareness of SBCC Building Contracts, and various contract documents for which the QS/Cost Manager is responsible.

You will also have effective communication, interpersonal and IT skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills.

Successful completion of year 1 and 2 of the relevant Built Environment degree course is essential.

Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 6 months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
