We require a highly motivated individual to join the Community Planning and Engagement Team working within the East of the region.

You will lead our Councils support to and engagement with communities in Ward 11, reporting to a Ward Manager.  This will involve working alongside communities to achieve their ambitions with a focus on the work of the Education, Skills and Community Wellbeing Directorate and other Council and Partners’ services in Ward 11 (Annandale North) for example supporting Community Asset Transfers, Community Resilience activities, Ward Forums and other community engagement activities. 

You must be educated to Degree standard or equivalent in a relevant discipline.  You will also have experience of working with communities, Elected Members and with Community Planning partners.  The successful postholder must have excellent communication skills, exhibit good personal organisation and time management skills.   

This post is fixed term for 6 months.  This post may be suitable for secondment.  Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post on a secondment basis.
