Full Job Description

  • Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility, which includes, manual handling of heavy stock, receiving and replenishing goods with accuracy, picking and packing customer orders and keeping accurate records of stock levels.
  • Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
  • You will be required to manually handle all of our products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes.

    The Start Date of employment will be: 26th September 2026
  • This role offers an hourly rate of £13.45.
  • Nightshift allowance of £2.25 per hour applies for hours worked between 10pm and 6am.
  • Full Time: 39 hours working 5 shifts per week including alternate weekends.
  • Shift start times for this role are from 11pm. Please be aware that the IKEA Store is located outside of the city and links by public transport may be infrequent. If you will be using public transport to get to the store we ask you to consider your transport route before you apply.
