Warehouse Operative

As a Warehouse Operative based in Glasgow you'll be responsible for:

• Completing general warehouse duties in a fast paced environment
• Picking and packing items ready for delivery to our customers - which will involve manual handling of heavy items eg boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets
• Loading and unloading vehicles for deliveries and collections
• Booking stock in on the system and putting it away in the correct locations
• Processing stock and completing orders for delivery or collection
• Driving a forklift truck
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and adhering to Health and Safety guidelines
• Relief driving a 3.5t Van to do general deliveries as a back up
  
  Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment
• Prior experience using a forklift tuck will be advantageous
• Strong numeracy skills and PC literacy
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training (forklift licence training will be provided)
• A strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
• A full UK driving licence is an advantage

Possible Saturday working 08:00- 12:00pm, paid as overtime.
