Warehouse Operative / Administrator
Menzies Distribution has an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Operative/ Administrator to join our team based in Inverness.
THE DETAILS:
- Shift Pattern - Saturdays - 07.00 -13.00 (additional hours maybe available on other days)
- Salary: £11.44 per hour
- Location: Inverness
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Manage the flow of information in depot
- Be willing to help out in the Warehouse, moving stock, pallets, sacks and keeping the warehouse tidy
- Create reports when required
- Communicate potential production changes/delays to the operational team
- Ability to multi-task
- Build positive relationships with internal departments, suppliers and clients
- Monitor and identify issues and trends
- Maintain and update our in-house administration systems
- Contribute ideas which will improve our ability to provide exceptional customer service
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Good attention to detail when comparing data between systems
- MUST be physically fit
- Ability to extract data and manipulate outputs between systems
- Ability to build positive working relationships through excellent interpersonal skills, including clear communication via verbal/email output
- Experience of administration and good working knowledge of MS Excel & MS Access
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
- Able to work to deadlines, with the ability to react to changes in a fast-paced environment
