Role Responsibilities

• Driving a 3.5t automatic van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to local customers - generally within a 30 mile radius


• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations


• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude


• Ensuring that all incoming deliveries comply with the delivery paperwork, handle discrepancies appropriately and put stock away in the warehouse


• Picking and packing items to fulfil customer requirements which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets

Working Hours

This is a Full Time permanent position working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday on a rota basis 09.00am - 12.00pm.

Candidate Requirements

• A Full UK Driving Licence is essential


• Plumbing & Heating knowledge is advantageous


• Prior multi-drop experience is preferential


• Previous face-to-face sales and customer service experience


• Warehouse experience


• The ability to deliver outstanding customer service


• To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch


• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
