Post Title: Waste Management Assistant 2 (Awareness)
Location: Dingwall Area Office, County Buildings
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £32,596 - £36,145 per annum

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To successfully engage with the public throughout the Highland Council area, promoting the Council’s recycling and waste services to increase the quantity and quality of material collected for recycling.

Develop and deliver high-quality, engaging digital content such as videos, graphics, and artwork for social media platforms, web pages and printed media, tailored to the needs of our audiences.

This is an exciting opportunity to assist in delivering substantial environmental benefits - helping the Council’s progress towards achieving its recycling commitments and net zero targets.

Requirements

You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service, possession of a clean driving licence is therefore required.

Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, there will be some working outwith normal office hours including some weekends. You will be expected to travel for work throughout the Highland region (vehicle will be supplied) with planned overnight stays.
