Up to £45ph DOE plus benefits

At Vets Now, we understand that there's life beyond the typical 9-5. If you're looking for additional hours or want to enhance your ECC skills, this weekend role in our Kilmarnock clinic could be perfect for you.
This role offers a structured rota with one weekend in two, including a mixture of day and night shifts, plus some evening back shifts (18:00-00:00).

Shift types include:

  • Night shift: 18:00 - 09:00
  • Saturday day: 12:00 - 18:30
  • Sunday day: 08:30 - 18:30
  • Back shift: 18:00 - 00:00

Example 4-week rota:

  • Week 1: Sunday 18:00 - 09:00
  • Week 2: Off
  • Week 3: Friday 18:00 - 09:00 and Sunday 18:00 - 09:00
  • Week 4: Saturday 12:00 - 21:00 or Sunday 09:00 - 19:00

This rota provides great exposure to emergency and critical care while maintaining a predictable and manageable schedule.

In the Kilmarnock clinic, you'll find a strong support network of experienced veterinary surgeons, skilled nurses, and knowledgeable Animal Care Assistants and Receptionists. The team works collaboratively to deliver exceptional out-of-hours care, ensuring you always feel supported during your shifts.
You'll benefit from both structured professional development and day-to-day collaboration with experienced ECC clinicians within a welcoming and supportive clinic environment.
