Full Job Description
Project Esperanza is a Scottish charity that is committed to supporting multi-ethnic communities, particularly migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees, in overcoming barriers to social integration. Our beneficiaries are impacted by national issues such as poverty, but also by chronic health, caring responsibilities, language barriers, no access to employment, education, adequate housing and transport- all of these issues which then impact on overall health and wellbeing.We are excited to be looking to recruit a Wellbeing Hub Coordinator who will lead on our health and wellbeing initiatives to help us achieve our vision for the next 3 years. This role will focus on building on our current work and develop and create positive partnerships with the community and others in Edinburgh and wider Scotland., None specified

We’re a Womanist initiative dedicated to bringing race and faith-sensitive specialist services & culturally appropriate support to women of African heritage in Edinburgh. We address social isolation, migration trauma and racial trauma. Through offering culturally appropriate race-sensitive, faith-sensitive and trauma-informed, stigma-free support and services as well as mental health and well-being support through coaching and mentoring. We have a trusted network of partners who understand the needs of the people we serve and have a human rights-based approach to working with people.
