Experteer Overview As Workforce Data & Insights Manager, you will transform workforce data into actionable insights to improve organisational effectiveness, capability, and performance. You'll own analytics, dashboards, and modelling within OE&C, supporting evidence-based decisions and people-focused improvement. You'll partner with senior leaders to diagnose issues, forecast capability needs, and embed data-driven thinking across organisational design. This role offers scope to shape workforce planning and capability development in a mission-driven public sector setting. Pay / Benefits
- Provide authoritative analytics to support OE&C objectives, including capability development and workforce sustainability Develop dashboards, reports and analytics to identify development needs, risks, and opportunities Partner with senior stakeholders to diagnose workforce issues and inform improvement priorities Own OE&C workforce, capability, and organisational MI as the single source of truth for datasets Lead scenario modelling, forecasting and skills gap analysis for capability planning Maintain data integrity through governance, quality controls and standard definitions Build data literacy within OE&C teams to enable effective use of insight Develop high-quality analytics focused on workforce capability, capacity and organisational effectiveness Analyse trends in skills gaps, sustainability, performance indicators, and development needs Develop models and forecasts to identify future capability risks and improvement priorities Translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical audiences Promote data-driven thinking through guidance, training and support Tasks Proven experience in workforce analytics, reporting and insight generation for strategic and operational decisions Ability to translate complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and reporting using Power BI, Tableau or equivalent Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills for non-technical audiences Knowledge of predictive analytics, scenario modelling or workforce planning methodologies Professional qualification in data analytics, HR analytics or equivalent experience Strong analytical skills and ability to diagnose organisational and capability issues using workforce data Experience with data governance and quality assurance Key requirements Civil Service Pension scheme (Defined Benefit) up to 30 days annual leave training and development opportunities flexible working hours family-friendly policies gym (London) and season ticket loan
