Workshop Ambassador / Retail Sales Associate

As our Workshop Ambassador & Sales Associate, your duties will take on a range of roles including:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service


• Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features


• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries


• "Go the extra mile" to drive sales


• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas


• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options


• Process POS (point of sale) purchases


• Cross sell products


• Handle returns of merchandise


• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service


• Build productive trust relationships with customers & colleagues


• Comply with inventory control procedures

  We are an Edinburgh footwear and accessory brand called Islander®. We use Scotland's finest Harris Tweed@ to make unique, beautifully crafted designs for men and women. We have three stores in Edinburgh, and a newly opened store in St. Andrews. The new Islander Handbag Experience is now open in St Andrews and Edinburgh, offering customers to create their very own bespoke Islander Satchel, during our 1-hour workshop.
