At Prestwick Service Centre we are specialists in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engine nacelles systems and engine components. What You Will Do + Perform manual and automated cleaning of aerospace parts, tools, and assemblies using approved chemicals, washbay equipment, and industry best practices. + Prepare components for inspection, repair, or further processing by removing oils, dirt, coatings, and debris. + Safely operate pressure washers, portable wash units, and associated cleaning equipment. + Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using the Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) process. + Collaborate closely with mechanics and inspectors to ensure components meet required cleanliness and quality standards. + Support receiving and shipping processes through disassembly and assembly of component parts. + Perform routine equipment checks, basic maintenance, and housekeeping to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. + Adhere to PPE requirements, spill control procedures, safe operating instructions, and waste disposal protocols in line with aerospace regulations. + Ensure full compliance with company policies including EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property, and Global Trade Compliance requirements. + Complete finishing tasks such as Alochrome application, part marking, closing work orders, and booking parts into stock. + Generate Certificates of Conformance (C of C) for completed parts. + Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. +
