The Role:

The Youth and Community Coach forms part of the Street League Delivery Team and works in partnership with the Progressions Coordinator in delivering and administering Street League's programmes in their specific local area.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Street League's launch in North Scotland working within the Highlands - Inner Moray Firth region. As a Youth and Community Coach, you'll recruit and engage young people, deliver engaging sport and personal development sessions and support young people to gain the confidence and skills they need to transition into employment, education and training

You'll work closely with the Progressions Coordinator to bring Street League's programmes to life in the Highlands, build relationships with local schools, community organisations, and partners, and help establish our presence in this exciting new area.

You will be responsible for:

1. Engaging young people in local communities and online, as well as establishing and maintaining community partnerships.

2. Recruiting and registering young people onto Street League activity.

3. Delivery of community-based street sports, and the Street League Academy Programme.

4. Creative sports and team building activities aligned to Street League's practice framework and qualifications.

5. Data entry and compliance for all Street League activity.

Key Details:

Salary - Circa £24,875

Work pattern - 36.25 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Location - Highlands - Inner Moray Firth (with office base in Inverness)

Contract - Fixed-Term until March 2027
