Responsibilities:

Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.

Building relationships with customers with the aim of driving repeat business, enhancing customer experience, and maximising lifetime value.

Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email providing quotes promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.

General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders which will involve manual handling of heavy items.

Work Schedule:

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 07.30am - 5.00pm, plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm paid as overtime.

Candidate Requirements:

Plumbing and heating industry or merchant experience is beneficial but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.

Retail sales and customer service experience.

Previous warehouse experience.

A strong work ethic and an eagerness to get stuck into all areas of the branch.
